Scope of certification activities
The certification register pertains to certification activities within the following guidelines:
Within this scope, DCI Group performs activities such as EU type examination (Module B), product testing (Module F), and Post Construction Assessment (PCA).
Role of competent authorities
Various bodies are involved for certification under the MED Directive:
The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) is the competent authority in the Netherlands and responsible for the supervision and notification of certification bodies.
NANDO is the European database in which notified bodies and their scope are published.
MarED is the database for the registration of MED certificates and approved maritime equipment.
DCI Group is currently in the accreditation and notification process. Inclusion in these systems will take place following formal accreditation and registration.

Important note
DCI Group is currently undergoing the accreditation process with the Dutch Accreditation Council (Raad voor Accreditatie). Certification activities are being carried out in preparation for formal accreditation and – where applicable – notification under the MED Directive.
