DCI Group is an independent certification body in the maritime sector and operates in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17065:2012. We carry out certification activities for pleasure craft, partially completed pleasure craft, and selected maritime equipment within the framework of Directives 2013/53/EU (RCD) and 2014/90/EU (MED).
Our activities include, among others, EU type examination (Module B), conformity with type (Modules C and F), and post-construction assessment (PCA), depending on the applicable directive and product category.
With a strong focus on independence, expertise, and transparency, we ensure a thorough and consistent certification process, in line with applicable laws and regulations and our own management system.
About us – DCI Group
DCI Group is an independent certification body within the maritime sector. We focus on the certification of pleasure craft and maritime equipment in accordance with European directives such as the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD – 2013/53/EU) and the Marine Equipment Directive (MED – 2014/90/EU) .
We assist manufacturers, importers, and owners in demonstrating conformity, so that products can be placed on the market safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.
DCI Group is located in Heemskerk, at business park De Trompet (part 2) .
Our role as a certification body
DCI Group operates as an independent third party (Type A certification body). This means that we:
exclusively carry out certification and assessment activities
not engage in design, production, or consultancy activities
have no vested interest in the products we review

Accreditation status
DCI Group is currently undergoing the accreditation process with the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) and is not yet accredited.
No statements are issued suggesting that DCI Group is already accredited.
